What happens to us when fate confronts us with autism? And this is not at all necessary the birth of a child with ASD - the paradox is that both the experience of acquaintances and the stories that we learn about in the media are traumatic, and sometimes just information about this disease, completely impersonal and, it would seem, did not imply such emotional response.
It can be assumed that such a reaction is just one of the manifestations of a more general desire to “stigmatize”, to remove from oneself any diseases affecting the mental sphere - and therefore the person himself: “Well, I’m normal, why should I know about all this ?! " But it seems that in the case of autism we are faced with something more internally traumatic - painfully frightening, emotionally sharp. As if it is here that some very deep inner border passes: to accept or not to accept, to admit or not to admit "THIS" into your world - and if you admit, then what to do with "THIS" ...
At one time, when I almost for the first time learned about the methods of working with children with ASD, I was struck by an article that proposed a violent method of “retraining” (like this: there are obsessive movements - to hold the hand, turns away - to turn violently, etc., like, “why are we deceiving ourselves, this is effective! ..”) The horror was caused not even by the methods themselves, but by the tone in which they were presented - some kind of maliciously irritable, almost vindictive ... so that they stop interfering ...
Perhaps that is why it is the phenomenon of autism that makes you think that everything is not happening by chance. People with ASD point us to something in ourselves - and, on the other hand, take on our traumas, our pain, our mistakes. On the April 8, 2021 live broadcast of the Moscow State School "Proving" I was struck by the thought: it is important not to "pull out" these people at any cost to the conditional "norm", but to grow what is in them, to integrity, to support what is in them is, keep a unique personality.
This is what can be done by the methods of holistic medicine, and above all homeopathy. The more interesting is the conference dedicated to the problems of homeopathic treatment of autism, which will be held on April 25, 2021.
